All grades supplied by the company are distinguished by their high calorific value as well as low content of:

- Beryllium (Be);
- Vanadium (V).
EcoCarbon’s material is of superior quality in comparison with other coals in terms of physical characteristics, low emissions and minimal environmental impact.
Low sulphur levels result in lower SO2 emissions. Low ash limits emissions of toxic elements and metals both in slag and in fly ash, which is carried along with smoke into the atmosphere.
The content of radioactive elements (uranium, thorium) in coal, supplied by EcoCarbon, is also at the low level, which ensures its safe use.
All coal being supplied to customers is screened and crushed at the special facilities on site.
Coal quality characteristics are perfected by state-of-the art washing plants.
Coal terminals, involved in coal handling, are equipped with high-tech magnetic separators, coal crushing and screening facilities. They provide 100% contamination free clean coal with contract fraction 0-50 mm.
Quality control, including sampling and chemical analyses, is performed by the world’s leading independent survey companies SGS and Incolab.
